Healthy Breakfast Ideas With CBD Oil

Having the same routine is extremely useful for finding your sweet spot with CBD, aka the right CBD oil dosage. Once you have found what you prefer and what works for you, it’s much easier to add some variety and experiment with the way you take your CBD.

Instead of your usual morning dose via a CBD tincture, switch it up and create a light CBD breakfast for a fully fuelled and tasty cannabinoid boost!

Note – you can increase decrease the amount of CBD in each recipe if you wish, especially if you’re familiar with what already works for you.

All our recipes serve 2 with 15mg CBD per serving, increase/decrease the ratio of ingredients as needed for less/more as desired. 

Let’s get started with some recipes to give you some inspiration…

CBD Mixed With Smoothies

If your anything like us you LOVE smoothies! Especially when you get to create your own and play with the ingredients to find your perfect mix of fruit and superfood add ons.

The nutritional horsepower in a smoothie is unique, add in CBD, and you have a complete wellness booster!

It’s difficult to choose just one CBD breakfast smoothie recipe to share so we’ve gone with two on this occasion…Lucky you!

Mango superfood CBD breakfast smoothie

To ensure your smoothie is ice cold you ideally want to use frozen fruit if this is not possible then add 1 cup ice cubes to the mix instead.


• 2 cups frozen mango (approx 2 x 300g mangos if fresh)
• 1 frozen banana
• 1/2 cup milk or almond milk
• 1/2 cup greek yoghurt
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
• 1/2 mL Nature & Bloom anytime 5% CBD oil

To make, add the ingredients except for CBD oil into a high-speed blender until smooth. Next, add CBD oil and blitz in the blender for 5-10 seconds.

Greens superfood CBD breakfast smoothie (h3)

15mg CBD per serving, with 2 servings in total.


• 1 frozen banana
• 1 cup spinach
• 1/4 cup mint
• 1/2 cup kale
• 1 cup milk or unsweetened almond milk
• 1 tsp chia seeds
• 1 tbsp peanut butter (our favourite is pics pb!)
• 1/2 mL 5% CBD oil (assuming 10mL bottle)

Add the greens and almond milk to the blender and blitz until smooth. Then add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

Superfood Oatmeal With Berries And CBD

Warm oatmeal, also known as porridge in the UK is a staple in the winter diet. Filling. Tasty. CBD oatmeal…What’s not to love?


• 100g porridge oats

• 400ml milk or almond milk

• 1/2 mL 5% CBD oil (assuming 10mL bottle)

• 1 tsp honey (optional)

To serve:

•1/4 cup mixed berries

• Cinnamon sprinkles

• 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)


  1. Add the porridge oats and milk to a deep saucepan (or a large bowl if microwaving).
  2. Simmer under medium heat and frequently stir until you have your desired porridge thickness. If microwaving, place the bowl into the microwave and turn it on at full power for 3 and 1/2 mins, check every minute to see if the porridge is as thick as you would desire if not stir and keep heating.
  3. Take the pan off the heat (or remove the bowl from the microwave) add the honey and CBD oil. 
  4. Place your CBD oatmeal into two separate bowls to serve.
  5. Add the mixed berries and cover half of each bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon. Add peanut butter to the opposite side of the bowl to dip into the CBD oatmeal!

Salmon And Avocado Toast With CBD

Avocado on toast has become a popular dish almost everywhere! Regardless of if it’s your weekend treat or your daily go-to, you can enjoy a CBD breakfast while feasting on your favourite healthy foods too!


• 2 slices rye bread (swap for another type of bread if you like)

• 1 avocado (sliced thinly or mashed if you prefer)

• 50g Scottish smoked salmon (if you’re outside the UK, salmon sourced elsewhere is perfectly fine)

• 1 tsp thinly sliced green onion

• 1/2 tsp capers

• 1/2 mL 5% CBD oil (assuming 10mL bottle)

• Salt and pepper to season


  1. Toast the bread to your preference while prepping the remaining ingredients (e.g slicing and having them ready to place onto your hot toast)
  2. Add a thin layer of avocado slices or mashed avocado if you prefer and drizzle the CBD oil over the top
  3. Top with smoked salmon and add green onions, capers.
  4. Add salt and pepper to season.

Bonus: A Mediterranean Salad With CBD Dressing

If your someone who prefers to eat light in the morning and enjoy a salad don’t worry we have a great recipe for you below:


•2 large Roma tomatoes or 3 medium off the vine

• 1/4 red onion thinly sliced

• 1/2 a garlic glove minced then crushed

• 1/4 cup chopped parsley

• 1/2 cup chopped rocket

• 1/4 small chopped cucumber

• 1/2 mL 5% CBD oil (assuming 10mL bottle)

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 tsp ground sumac

• 3 big chunks of feta

 • Half a handful of thinly sliced Dill 

• Juice of half a lemon

 • Salt and pepper to garnish


  1. Combine all ingredients except the feta, olive oil, CBD oil, dill + salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly
  3. Add feta spread across the serving dish
  4. Add olive oil and CBD Oil. Mixing the oil into the bowl.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
