These gummies produced an intense body high and head to toe relaxation.

Grape gummies come in purple bags, Blueberry gummies in azure bags, etc.

I was lucky enough to sample the brand’s award winning Berry tincture which tasted absolutely amazing. Natural and delicate, flavored with mixed berries and hints of coconut. 

If you’re not a big fan of the taste you can add a few drops to your favorite beverage.

Pro tip: I like to add a few drops to my salad dressing.

I was high within minutes after taking this tincture under the tongue. The effects were calming, yet coupled with a mild euphoria. 

I stayed perfectly content for hours. 

Each Delta 8 tincture is packaged in an amber glass vial and costs $50 for 600 mg or $90 for 1200 mg. This makes it $0.083 mg per ml for the former and $0.075 for the latter.

In an industry saturated with cannabis gummies, Hometown Hero’s Live Rosin gummies are something special. Made with an exclusive blend of D9 THC and live rosin, they’re available in various flavors and strain specific options. 

Strain specific gummies are rare, but Hometown Hero has them in Blue Dream, Super Silver Haze, Gelato and Northern Lights. 

They come in a 10-pack, and each gummy contains 25 mg hemp-derived D9 and 5 mg live rosin.

I sampled the brand’s Gelato Delta 9 gummies. Let’s just say the taste is out of this world. Sugary vanilla notes preceded a spicy aftertaste. 

The addition of live rosin made it reminiscent of the Cookies genetics, absolutely delicious and not too earthy at all.

As might be expected with a Delta 9 THC, Hometown Hero D9 gummies have a potency that hits harder than the D8. 

While it took a while for the effects to kick in, the overall feeling I found with these gummies was sheer euphoria. I was elevated for a solid three hours.

They came packaged in a mylar bag with gorgeous graphics, and a resealable tab ensures that each piece stays fresh for weeks. 

The D9 live rosin gummies are more expensive than the D8 options but there’s a reason why we’ve also voted these babies as the best delta 9 gummies on the market in our round up review.

Each package of strain specific 250 mg Live Rosin Gummies sells for $70. This is $0.24 per milligram of THC.

My favorite flavor was Pineapple, with tropical citrus notes perfectly balanced by the sugar crystal coating.

As far as effects go, these were our favorite Hometown Hero find. 

There’s definitely something to be said about the benefits of cannabinoid ratios.

The blissful high was complimented from the stress relief and mental relaxation thanks to that 1:1 THC/CBD ratio. 

Overall, Hometown Hero Select Spectrum Gummies offered a well-balanced high felt within 30 minutes that lasted a few hours.

One of our favorite things about this brand is how they frequently color code the packaging with the flavor of the product. 

These resealable mylar bags come in vibrant hues that match the fruit flavor. Mango comes in a bright orange bag, Strawberry in red and Pineapple in yellow. 

Select Spectrum Cocoa Squares sell for $40 and contain 300 mg THC and 300 mg CBD. This equates to approximately $0.13 per mg THC and CBD. 

Select Spectrum Gummies also sell for $40, and each gummy contains 10 mg THC and 10 mg CBD. Ultimately this works out to $0.04 per MG THC and CBD (or $0.02 per MG of cannabinoids).

Good for: Individuals interested in a well balanced high.

Live Rosin Delta 9 Taffy

Hometown Hero’s Live Rosin Taffy is made with a 100 year-old recipe crafted with 100% hemp derived Delta 9 THC. You’d swear this is regular salt water taffy from the mouthwatering taste and lusciously soft texture alone. 

Yes, these edibles are really that decadent. 

Each piece of taffy contains 15 mg of hemp-derived Delta 9 THC and 2.5 mg strain specific life resin. They’re the ideal dose for customers experienced with edibles. But if you’re just starting out, it’s recommended to cut your taffy in half so as not to experience any adverse effects.

Taffy comes in four different flavors: Tutti Frutti (made with sativa live rosin), Birthday Cake (made with indica live rosin), Cotton Candy (made with hybrid live rosin) and Caramel (type of live rosin not specified).

I tried Tutti Frutti, Birthday Cake and Cotton Candy. 

Honestly, these are some of the best tasting edibles I’ve ever tried. 

The Cotton Candy had explosive notes of raspberry and sour blueberry. Memories of fresh cotton candy from the county fair instantly came to mind. 

They tasted absolutely delicious, and the effects were equally enjoyable. 

While Cotton Candy live rosin is labeled as a hybrid, I found the high to be much more on the sativa side. I was uplifted, but did find it easy to unwind with a strong sense of contended well being. 

This Taffy does not come cheap but this canna infused salt water taffy is definitely worth the money. 

A bag of 10 taffies sells for $35. That said, you can save $15 if you purchase the 30-count bag for $90. 

Ultimately, this comes down to $0.23 per mg of D9 and $0.2 per mg of live rosin. 

Good for: Users who like strong edibles that are insanely delicious.

D9 Crunch Squares

Hometown Hero D9 Squares combine delta 9 with some super sugary, scrumptious cereals. Talk about invoking feelings of childhood nostalgia! 

Each bar is handcrafted by a locally-owned gourmet bakery. 

Though delectable, these edibles are super potent. Don’t let the sweet flavors fool you. There’s 300 mg of D9 per square. Each bar is cut in 75 mg pieces to make dosing easier.

Hometown Hero D9 Squares are made in two different flavors: Rainbow and Cinna Crunch. 

Rainbow is super sweet in that “these are so addicting” kind of way. The fruit flavors aren’t natural in the slightest, but they are evocative of those fun fruity pebble flavors of our youth. 

If you’re into something less sweet, opt for the slightly less sugary Cinna Crunch flavor. The sweet sugar taste is balanced out with spicy hints of cinnamon. 

While the taste of these treats were too sugary for my personal preference, the effects were well balanced. 

It did take me about 45 minutes for me to feel anything, but I found myself in a space of relaxed euphoria as soon as the effects kicked in. 

The balanced high lasted 2-3 hours before slowly wearing off. 

The D9 squares cost $40 for a 300 mg bar. 

This equates to $0.13 per mg. The price is right about average for a product like this, but the flavor is out of this world.

Good for: Those looking for sugary sweetness in edibles that provide a balanced high.

HHC Gummies

Available in a 50mg potency, the HHC edible range from Hometown hit hard and fast. With 10 sugar-dusted gummies coming in each pack, even those with a very high tolerance will have enough to ride a strong buzz.

As usual with Hometown Hero, they come packed in a color-coded mylar bag, so regardless of how high you already are, it’s clear what flavor you’re about to enjoy. 

When it comes down to effects, one of these had me flying in the clouds within 30-40 minutes. I’ve tried and tested over 10 types of HHC edibles, and these are the strongest I’ve had the pleasure to try. 

Add in the fact the brand uses both live rosin and HHC distillate, and you’ve got a potent mix here. These contain a variety of terpenes from the rosin to combine with the HHC for synergistic effects.  

Coming in at $32 for 1 pack or just under $130 for 5, it works out at approx $0.05 per MG if you opt for the bulk deal or $0.06 per MG for the single pack.

Good for: Consumers after an alternative to THC with a potent high. 

Hometown Hero CBD Review

CBDA + CBGA Tincture

These CBD tinctures are curated with a special blend of non-psychoactive cannabinoid compounds. Crafted with CBD, CBG, and CBDA, and CBGD, the tincture offers maximum relief with hard to find cannabis compounds.

Each tincture contains 600 mg of each cannabinoid for a whopping 2400 mg total. Each 1 ml dropper contains 20 mg of CBD, 20 mg of CBG, 20 mg of CBDA and 20 mg of CBGA. 

That’s a massive amount of wellness in a tiny bottle!

Like the brand’s other tinctures, their CBD tincture is made with MCT oil sourced from organic coconuts. It’s also sugar free, gluten free and 100% vegan, making it ideal for most dietary needs.

This is honestly not the best tasting tincture I’ve ever tried. But that’s not to say it’s unpalatable. 

The strong herbal flavors were somewhat similar to CBD flower, but fortunately didn’t leave behind a funky aftertaste. 

While there’s zero psychotropic effects (high) in any of the cannabinoid content contained in this tincture, I did find myself noticeably calmer and more relaxed after taking a 1 ml serving. 

Considering each serving contains 20 mg of CBD, CBG, CBDA and CBGA for a total of 80 mg, it makes sense that I experienced the serene feelings CBD is famous for.  

The tincture is packaged in a glass vial with a black and white label. 

It’s basic, but has a classic minimalist feel to it.  

Unlike their THC tinctures, it’s apparent that this is meant to be taken for its therapeutic potential.

The price of this tincture is $90 but don’t let the cost deter you, there’s a ton of milligrams in this tiny container. 

The price breaks down to $0.0375 per milligram of CBD, CBG, CBDA and CBGA. Good for: Individuals interested in the wellness benefits of high quality CBD flower or other CBD products without any psychoactive effects.
