Overall, the high is super strong. Initially the psychoactive effects were so intense that they bordered on the edge of paranoia. This thankfully didn’t last long.

Yes. But it’s somewhat of a gray area. 

THCa concentrates that adhere to the 2018 Farm Bill are technically legal. The bill states that hemp products must contain less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis to be considered legal.

Some THCa products that are deemed legal under US federal law might not be permitted in some states, however. All states can set their own regulations in regards to hemp products. 

Is THCa Decarbed?

No. THCa, or Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is the acidic form of THC. It’s the precursor to the most popular psychoactive cannabinoid we know and love. 

So why should we even want to try a non-psychoactive compound? 

Once you heat THCa it converts into THC. As soon as you fire up the dab rig, the THCa you’re heating up turns into active THC right in front of your eyes. 

Everytime you dab THCa, you’re performing the decarboxylation process.

Will THCa Get Me High?

Yes, but it won’t get you high by itself. It needs to go through the decarboxylation process first in order to convert THCa to THC, so you’ll need to heat it up first.
