Best Weed Delivery Los Angeles 2024 Review

Need weed in Los Angeles? After three days of intensive research, more dabs than I can count, and 7 iced coffees, I’ve picked out the best cannabis delivery services in LA.

As a former cannabis concierge for a medicinal dispensary, I have outlined what I think are the strengths and weaknesses of each weed delivery service in Los Angeles so that you can purchase your marijuana with confidence.

Top 2 LA Cannabis Delivery Summary

Best Weed Delivery In Los Angeles 2024

1. Eaze

Eaze is a cannabis software platform and marketplace which connects licensed dispensaries to consumers. They are known for their professional service, high-quality products, and extensive product menu.

With over 7 million legal weed deliveries in Los Angeles and the surrounding area, and 800,000 registered customers, Eaze is a leader in the cannabis industry. They also have an excellent stock of over 100 licensed THC brands.

PROS (+)

  • Get $30 off your first order
  • Real-time tracking
  • A great and easy site interface

CONS (-)

  • No advanced orders
  • Payment methods vary depending on location

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 9 AM – 10 PM, 365 days a year
  • Expected Wait: 2 hours or less
  • Delivery Fees: Typically $5 for orders under $50

What I Like

They support brands created by women and people of color by regularly stocking their products. In addition, Eaze believes in Social Equity and the Impact of promoting legal cannabis markets and weed delivery in Los Angeles.

They participate in trying to clear criminal records and help veterans receive compassionate care. Philanthropy is important to this company, and I definitely like and respect that.

The company also publishes original research on cannabis consumer demographics, behaviors, and the economics of the cannabis market.

You can refer a friend to get a $30 Eaze credit once your friend gets their first delivery. They will also get $30 off as well.

What I Don’t Like

Their prices on products are pretty expensive. $12 for a 0.5 g pre-roll. It better be wrapped in gold.

However, they do have the option to get 14 grams of pre-ground bud for $55, which is pretty decent. You can also get ounces for $140-170. That’s a pretty reasonable rate.

You have to watch a video on how its weed delivery services work instead of simply reading about it.

The site only accepts the California Department of Public Health Medical Marijuana cards. However, for these cards, they do qualify for sales and tax exemptions.

You also require a working phone number that can receive calls and texts like a smartphone. This is in part because they cannot verify you.

2. Hey Emjay

Heyemjay claims to be the best delivery service in the world. With transparent pricing that they claim is the same at your local Los Angeles dispensary, Emjay curates only the best brands to meet your cannabis delivery needs.

They also state that they are one of the only vertically integrated platforms in the industry, which means they own all their own infrastructure and hire and train their own drivers.

Many reviewers claim this to be true and that their drivers do meet these expectations, improving the weed delivery experience in LA. They’ve recently also expanded delivery coverage to cover Long Beach, San Francisco and San Diego!

PROS (+)

  • Decent daily deals
  • $10 off your first order
  • Zero delivery fees

CONS (-)

  • Minimum order of $25
  • Only accepts cash or debit cards or through their payment partner Hypur

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 10 AM – 9 PM
  • Expected Wait: 1-2 hours
  • Delivery Fees: $0

What I Like

They immediately have a chatbot named Emjay in the corner asking how they may help you, which is cute.

Emjay also allows you to schedule deliveries throughout West Los Angeles for a later time or date.

The website interface is excellent. They have bubbles you click for pre-rolls, edibles, THC extracts, accessories, and more. Emjay also lists the brands they work with and related licensed dispensaries.

All products go through rigorous testing and safety standards, and their brands are all verified.

They also accept credit cards and offer military discounts. Furthermore, they are known for delivering on time and having very personable delivery drivers.

What I don’t like

Emjay needs to provide more information on how the company came to be, any charitable work they are involved in, and a more extensive FAQ section.

A blog would also be something good to add. This way, they would connect with their customers better and provide insight into their products and how to use them.

When checking user reviews, some people were angry about receiving the wrong product and then only getting a discount instead of the proper product they paid for too.

3. Bud.com

Bud.com was developed by Justin Hall, who, with excellent foresight, attained the URL in the 1990s. Now Bud.com delivers to homes, businesses, and hotels throughout Northern California.

Using your postal code, Bud.com will connect you with locals dispensaries that cater to the recreational market, though they also do welcome medical patients.

They have a wide variety of handpicked flower, joints, pre-rolled joints, CBD products, THC concentrates, edibles, and vape pens and cartridges.

PROS (+)

  • Bud.com’s blog is sensational and informative
  • Delivers very early in the morning!

CONS (-)

  • They don’t have a real-time tracking system
  • They only accept cash and debit

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 6 AM – 10 PM
  • Expected Wait: 1-2 hours
  • Delivery Fees: Depends on order size, delivery location & distance (average $5)

What I Like

Bud.com doesn’t only deliver marijuana. It also attempts to educate its customers by helping them understand the many benefits of CBD, other cannabinoids, and terpenes.

You can also find a lot of great articles on their blog. They even highlight a band so you can check out up-and-coming musicians.

They guarantee quality. Exchanges must occur within 7 days from the original purchase. Contact their support through phone, text, or email.

All their products go through rigorous testing procedures. They use independent laboratories and test for pesticides, solvents, microbial impurities, moisture content, foreign material, terpenes, mycotoxins, and heavy metals.

What I Don’t Like

Their referral program, which they describe as the ‘Buddy System,’ is rather bleh. You only receive $10 per referral, which is rather low when comparing it with other sites’ referral programs.

You can only tip the driver with cash, as they do not offer digital tipping at this time.

They only offer payments of cash or debit cards with a pin. You pay once the driver arrives.

They do this weird thing through their debit purchases by rounding up your order to the nearest $5 increment and then give you change back. It seems like they’re hunting for tips. Not sure why else they would do this.

You also can’t just get a price range for the products without setting your location. The prices should not vary much, making us wonder if the next county is getting a better deal.

4. Amuse

Amuse is a Los Angeles marijuana delivery service. They have an incredible product selection of flower, concentrates, topicals, pet products, and more.

PROS (+)

  • No order minimums
  • Can schedule deliveries days in advance
  • Great pricing & shopping experience

CONS (-)

  • They don’t accept credit cards

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 8 AM – 10 PM Monday – Friday
  • Expected Wait: Under an hour
  • Delivery Fees: $0

What I Like

Sign-up and verification only take a few minutes. All you need is an email address, a phone number, and an ID. You have to be 21+ to create an account unless you have a medical card for cannabis. In that case, you only need to be 18+.

During your first check out, the company will text you a link to your phone. Follow the link and take a photo of your ID and scan the bar-code on the back of your card, and then you are all set up for resident weed delivery services!

They also have referral programs where the person you refer gets a $30 credit to their first order, while you get $40 off. You can share this referral link through email, Twitter, Instagram.

There are no penalties for canceling an order. But if it becomes a regular occurrence, they will suspend your account.

What I Don’t Like

The price of THC flower is a little extreme. Sometimes you are paying $90 for 7 grams or $50 for a 3.5 g.

You only have 5 minutes to respond to the delivery driver. If you don’t respond, Amuse will cancel your order, and you have to reorder.

They do not have veterans or active service discounts, nor do they have a membership or VIP program. You also cannot get a refund for purchases due to legal reasons.

Their help center isn’t that helpful. You have to search to find the information you want, which is annoying.

5. Get Nugg

The Nugg Club is a weed subscription box delivery service that puts together a package of products for you.

You may choose what sort of products, strains, and other preferences in the manage membership part of your profile, and they will deliver the box to you.

The Nugg Club works with all BCC compliance standards and aims to deliver fresh, safe, clean, and effective products.

PROS (+)

  • You pay roughly $100 for $225 of product
  • You can get a medical license through their partner NuggMD
  • You can choose add-ons if you like certain products

CONS (-)

  • They charge a $20 missed delivery fee
  • They don’t have a great refund or return policy
  • Not an on demand service

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 8 AM – 10 PM
  • Expected Wait: Your product will arrive during the course of the day you select
  • Delivery Fees: $0

What I Like

Overall, I was hard-pressed to find something to like about this program. It was difficult to navigate the web page, customer service wasn’t available until 11 AM, and their online reviews were very negative.

However, you are supplied with a great amount of product for a reasonable price. So if you are looking to save a few dollars, this subscription service is the way to go. Also, if you like surprises, the novelty of this company’s Nuggclub boxes can be fun.

The box is also eco-friendly and can be recycled. It is made out of 80% recycled material and all ink used is soy-based and non-toxic.

Another great thing is that you get live ETA updates, and you can reschedule, pause, or cancel the subscription at any time.

What I Don’t Like

I don’t like the fact that you cannot select the exact products for your box.

Though they do consider your specific preferences when it comes to product and strain type, it is up to the curation team to customize your box.

Also, their weed delivery platform leaves much to be desired. They should show examples of their product and aim to make their cannabis delivery experience better.

6. Grassdoor

Grassdoor is a purveyor of top-end Cannabis products in Los Angeles. They are known for their swift deliveries at 40 minutes or less throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.

Not only are they probably the fastest cannabis delivery service in Los Angeles, but they also intend to be the safest, freshest, and most affordable too.

They gather all their product from the best grams in the states and carry everything from ultra-premium exotic strains to old school and seasonal strains. Their menu only carries 100% compliant growers, and all products are taste tested to find the best of the best.

PROS (+)

  • Fastest delivery out of any services
  • They take deliveries right up until 10 PM
  • Customer service is excellent and fast

CONS (-)

  • There is a minimum order of $30

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 9 AM – 10 PM
  • Expected Wait: Under an hour
  • Delivery Fees: $5 flat rate, but delivery is free if you buy over $75

What I Like

The chatbot is handy. You don’t have to wait long for someone to respond, and their cannabis experts are available from 10 AM – 9:30 PM, 365 days a year. You can ask them almost anything,, and they have the answers readily available.

If your order takes longer than 90 minutes, you can email support and include your phone number and ID, and they will give you a discount on your next order.

Keep in mind their peak hours are between 4 PM – 9 PM, but they aim to deliver to your door within 30 minutes.

Their prices are very reasonable, and you typically pay less than a dollar per point. Most half ounces are $120. However, if you are looking for more product, it is tough to find an ounce anywhere on their website.

They do have daily deals on 3.5 g for around $24. They usually have one sativa and one indica on sale with decent THC levels, which is great for those of us looking to save a few bucks on cannabis products.

Not to mention, they have a live map you can use to determine your ETA. This is good to have so you are available when they expect to deliver at your doorstep.

What I Don’t Like

They will only consider exchanging damaged or defective cannabis products within 24 hours of purchase.

When you compare this with other companies that will exchange products for up to 7 days or more, they definitely lack in this area.

They also only accept debit cards, HYPUR, and cash. And you can only apply up to $25 of wallet credit to your order every 24 hours.

7. Ganjarunner

Ganjarunner delivers medical and recreational cannabis that is convenient, informative, and reliable. Using only the highest quality third-party lab-tested products, they have over 300 products from which to choose.

PROS (+)

  • No delivery minimum
  • No delivery fee
  • Delivery within an hour

CONS (-)

  • You have to either set your location or enter your email to access the site
  • Above-average pricing

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 9 AM – 10 PM but stop taking orders at 9:15 PM
  • Expected Wait: 60- 90 minutes
  • Delivery Fees: No fee

What I Like

They have a hassle-free exchange policy to ensure you receive non-defective products. The company will send a fresh replacement product at no additional cost!

You simply return the defective product to the delivery driver once your replacement product arrives.

You can initiate exchanges within 14 days, giving you ample time to determine if your product is defective.

Their live customer support is available from 7:30 AM – 10:30 PM, and you can reach them through SMS, phone, email, or chatbot.

What I Don’t Like

Ganjarunner CS could do with a kick in the backside! Unfortunately, their chatbot was very slow to respond, but they provided all the information requested when they did answer.

The only other major downside is that the cutoff time for orders is 9:15 PM, while many other companies take orders later than that.

They also have had horrible reviews as of late too. People are angry that they only get limited delivery time options and are often late. So expect to wait for your weed delivery.

8. Herb

Herb doesn’t say a lot about themselves on their site. They talk about using local growers and that their products are derived from farms that grow responsibly. They claim to be the best marijuana delivery service around.

On other sites, I established that they began in 2014 by Robert V. under the belief that medical marijuana patients deserve better service and quality through swift and timely delivery service.

They have a team of experts, which include cannabis cultivation and distribution personnel, technologically inclined designers, and educated customer service representatives.

CONS (-)

  • Not cheap

Key Info

  • 24h Delivery: No
  • Delivery Hours: 10 AM – 10 PM
  • Expected Wait: 15 – 45 minutes
  • Delivery Fees: $25 minimum order plus a $5 surcharge

What I Like

Herb.com also has several loyalty programs for their marijuana delivery.

They have a review discount where, if you leave a review on Weedmaps, Leafly, Google, or Yelp, you can email it prior to your next order, and you will receive $10 off your next purchase.

If you refer a friend, you also get $10 off, and if you return or recycle 10 large jars or 20 small jars, you get $20 off your next order!

They have compassionate discounts for people in Los Angeles with hardships: senior citizens, veterans, and active military personnel.

The company accepts credit, debit, and cash, which is great considering many of the other companies reviewed don’t accept credit.

They also have this Get & Give program for people suffering hardships like physical ailments. If you can provide proof of this and apply via their website, you will be considered to receive a package at the beginning of the month filled with CBD and THCA products.

They have a lot of applicants, and the program is just starting to grow, so don’t expect to be approved immediately, but I really like this initiative.

What I Don’t Like

Their price points are insanely expensive.

If you are trying to save a buck, don’t bother looking at their website. Even when clicking under their deals, you find 1 g pre-rolls for $15. Other “discounts” include $40 for 3.5 grams.

When you check out their cannabis flower, you can find 1/8th of an ounce of as high as $60!

That’s just a ridiculous price for delivery in Los Angeles in my book. Despite their efforts with the Get and Give Program, their price point is a major turn-off.
