Who Are Eighty Six?
The founders of Eighty-Six started out in the vape industry on a mission to improve the quality and experience of vaping. Cannabis advocates from the get go, when the 2018 Farm Bill was passed, they learned more about psychoactive, hemp-derived cannabinoids.
In their own words, they were “hooked.” They combined their passion for cannabis and vaping to create Eighty-SIx, and are now dedicated to offering safe, accessible THC analogs and other cannabinoids to consumers nationwide.
Their products prioritize flawless quality, transparency and safety. All of their various offerings, including vape cartridges, disposables, dabbing syringes edibles, tinctures, pet products and more are full panel tested with easily accessible COAs.
With an array of unique flavor options and products based on exotic cannabis strains, Eighty-SIx delivers quality products for those interested in the effects of legal hemp-derived cannabinoid products.
Whether new to cannabis or looking to try something new, Eighty Six has everything you need.
Why Are We Fans?
Their unique and delicious flavors make them stand out from other hemp products on the market, with mouthwatering cartridges and disposables based on exotic strains, as well as a variety of sweet and indulgent edibles.
Eighty Six delivers a near-perfect experience for anyone seeking the benefits of hemp-derived cannabinoids. All their products are full panel tested, which is still somewhat of a rarity in the hemp industry. This means their products are tested for potency as well as any potential contaminants.
Not only did we thoroughly enjoy every product we tried, reviews from other customers are extremely positive. If you’re anything like the majority of consumers who love getting high on hemp, Eighty-Six offers plenty of products to take you to new heights.
Eighty-Six Delta 8 Review
Edibles
Sampling these edibles was quite the treat. Their extensive line of edibles includes various gummies, three different types of rice krispie treats, caramel chews and hard candies. I loved the rice krispie treats the best and downed the entire 10-count bag in one sitting.
Flavor
The gummies come in three flavors:
- Tropical Sunset
- Bubba Melon
- Berry Burst
The Tropical Sunset was my favorite, and I really enjoyed the sugar coating. The Berry Burst was also great. They are super sweet, and it’s a satisfying chew when you bite them.
The Rice Krispies were hands down my favorite. The flavors available are Original, Chocolate and Rainbow. The great thing was I didn’t taste the hempy flavor that’s apparent in some edibles.
I don’t usually like overly chewy things, but Eighty-Six Delta 8 Caramel Chews are creamy and delicious.
The Hard Candy, available in Peach and Root Beer, was also memorable. If you like peaches, you will love these candies. They melt in your mouth and are sweet throughout. The root beer flavor was tantalizing and made me an instant fan.
Effects
The Rice Krispie treat was gone in seconds and felt for hours. I woke up the next day feeling refreshed because the treat helped relax me to the point of sleep.
The Caramel Chews didn’t seem to hit me hard. But I still felt peaceful and chill.
Hands down, my favorite Eighty-Six D8 edible was the Rice Krispies . They are truly delightful, and if you get the chance, definitely try them out.
Packaging
All of the edibles, except for the gummies, come in mylar resealable pouches that are opaque to protect them from the sun. Inside, there is sometimes
The gummies came in a transparent container with a black sticker holding all the ingredients, a QR code to their lab reports, and other pertinent information.
What was good?
The flavors are spot on, and it is hard not to eat the whole package in one sitting. But please don’t do that. Start small and wait an hour before having another gummy to avoid experiencing any adverse effects.
What could be improved?
They are out of stock quite frequently with their gummies. In order to be alerted when the gummies are in stock, there is a box you can click to be notified.
They could improve the packaging for the gummies and put them in a solid container so they don’t degrade. But overall, I was impressed by their collection of edibles.
Carts & Disposables
I didn’t get to try all of these; there are too many to choose from. They have 1g and 2g disposable vapes and a series of vape cartridges for a 510 battery. I found the vape cartridges very smooth, while the disposables were on the harsher side. But, man, they did the trick.
Flavor
They have the following flavors for vape carts:
- Apple Snax (Apple Jack)
- Berry Slush (Strawberry Cough)
- Boo Berry (Blue Dream)
- Cereal Killer (Fruity Pebbles OG)
- Cookie Monster (Do-Si-Dos)
- Grape Soda (Purple Punch)
- Jen & Berry’s (Gelato)
- Pina Express (Pineapple Express)
The 2g disposable vaporizers come in the following flavors:
- Grape Soda (Purple Punch)
- Lime (Lemon Skunk)
- Berry Slush (Strawberry Cough)
- Boo Berry (Blue Dream)
- Cereal Killer (Fruity Pebbles OG X Alien Kush)
The flavors that I tested were right on point. Some were super sweet, like the Grape Soda. And I am at a loss for words for how delicious Cereal Killer was. It’s no surprise they’re out of stock quite often.
The Eighty-Six cartridge offers a delightful and relaxed experience. The distinct strains in these carts provide an exceptional flavor that I particularly enjoy, especially the Blue Dream and Strawberry Cough.
Effects
Compared to other Delta 8 cartridges, the effects and strength may be slightly milder when it comes to impactful effects. I didn’t feel too out there and was focused on my daily tasks. When I took Cereal Killer before bed, I had a nice deep sleep.
Packaging
The packaging was pretty standard. The carts came in rectangular boxes and an insert that kept the cartridges from moving during transport. They are also labeled with their great icon, dosing information and QR codes that take you directly to COAs.
What was good?
The flavors of the carts were super tasty. I found myself hauling on them more than I should have because I enjoyed the flavors so much. You couldn’t taste any additives or fillers, making me assume they must have used a great extraction process.
What could be improved?
They should work on keeping more stock in. They sell out of the 2g disposables pretty fast, so click that button and sign up to get a notification when they’re back in stock.
Pre Rolls
The smoothness of Eighty-Six’s pre rolls surprised me. I am usually not a fan of Delta 8 pre rolls (or any other pre-rolled joints for that matter), but if you’re like me and typically find them too harsh, you are in for a sweet surprise.
Flavor
Their pre rolls were quite tasty. My friend claims she’s never tasted anything better. I’d agree for the most part, but I wouldn’t state it quite so confidently.
Effects
These could have been more potent. Maybe I just have a high tolerance. That said, I could still feel the calming effect and did feel giddy and overly uplifted at times.
Pricing
Each pre roll has an average of over 102mg of D8. So you are paying $0.05/mg. I say it’s a good investment.
Packaging
Each pre-roll comes in a white tube with the brand’s sticker. I actually like the containers and want to keep them to store my own joints once I am done with the pre-roll.
What was good?
These pre rolls burn smoothly and evenly. Not to mention they taste good to the very last puff. Plus, they were easy on the lungs. You want to cough to get off, not gag your way through a joint.
What could be improved?
They could have improved the potency. They were not too weak, but trying new strains or improving the extraction process for the Delta 8 they coat the buds with could make them better. Just saying, not hating.
Concentrates
As you may know, concentrates are my favorite. I have my handy double percolator dab rig that I picked up for $70, and I’m always ready to break out the torch and my dab tools.
Flavor
Jen & Berry’s Gelato syringe is a cross between Strawberry Cough and Mojito. It tastes like strawberries and lemons, my two favorite flavors. I was hooked.
The taste of the Cereal Killer was sweet and flowery. Some say it tastes like eucalyptus and cherry with a hint of grape.
Other flavors included: Grape Soda, Berry Slush and Boo Berry.
Effects
When I took my first haul on the rig, I wasn’t expecting to have it hit so fast. I found that the Jen & Berry strain made me drowsy and relieved pain so well that I fell asleep more quickly.
If you are taking Cereal Killer, many people find the effects to be euphoric, creative, and calm, with a numbness that helps with pain relief. At the same time, others found it helpful for anxiety.
Packaging
The packaging is a rectangular box with an insert to hold the 1g syringe. The syringe is Luer-lock borosilicate Pyrex glass. It can take the heat.
The package is primarily white with whatever flavor the syringe is for a wrap-around cover. For example, Berry Slush has red, while Blue Dream is blue.
What was good?
You can taste the terpenes with each inhale, leading to a deliciously smooth haul that will have you feeling blitzed and happy.
The syringes worked well, too. You can tell they were made from premium materials, and you can squeeze every last drop from them. I recommend using them with flower, dabs or mixing it into some edibles.
What could be improved?
They could improve on their concentrate selection. It was pretty limited, and people like options. Also, they could put the actual prominent terpenes in the terpene profile section. Instead, they just say “relaxing” or “calming,” which in my mind speak about effects, not individual terpenes.
Eighty-Six Delta 9 Review
Eighty-Six’s Delta 9 THC products are all part of their Melo Dose Series. Talk about a selection! From gummies and caramel chews to rice krispie treats and milk chocolate bars, there is a treat for everyone to enjoy.
Flavor
For gummies, consumers can choose between Berry, Pink Lemonade and Watermelon flavors. I absolutely adored the Pink Lemonade and overindulged.
Then the rice krispies treats come with a total of 50mg D9 THC, with each Rice Krispie square containing 5 mg a piece. Flavors include Original, Chocolate and Rainbow.
The chocolate bars were as sweet and rich as I had hoped. I noticed no hemp taste and let them dissolve in my mouth. There are ten in the package, with each piece containing 5mg of Delta 9 THC.
Effects
The gummies hit me hard, and I felt like I was floating off the floor. I could barely string a sentence together, and yet I had a lot of energy. The pink lemonade was to die for and was by far my favorite.
The Rice Krispie bars were excellent as well, with that classic taste. I loved how they made them into mini bars because I could control the effects easier. I ate a couple, chilled for a half hour, and then took some more.
I found the chocolate hit me harder and faster than any of the other Delta 9 edibles. It was a euphoric and pleasurable experience, and when nighttime came, I slept like a log.
Packaging
The gummies came in a black mylar bag with a see-through panel and then a matching color at the bottom, representing the flavor inside. Not great for protecting the gummies inside, but they arrived in a good state.
The Rice Krispie squares were in a totally black, resealable bag, which is much preferable.
The Milk Chocolate Bar also came in solid packaging.
What was good?
Eighty-Six went all out and completed full panel testing for cannabinoids, heavy metal, microbial, mycotoxin, pesticides, filth and foreign material, moisture content and water activity and residual solvents.
What could be improved?
They could make the packaging totally opaque so products aren’t exposed to any light which can degrade product potency and quality.
Eighty-Six HHC Review
Eighty-Six HHC products are part of their Haze Series, and come in five different flavors of HHC disposable vaporizers. I loved that they branched out from the other Delta 8 and Delta 9 flavors. These 2g vapes sell out quickly, so grab them while you can.
Flavor
The HHC disposables come in the following flavors:
- Jolly Melon (Jolly Rancher)
- Orange Pop (Cactus Cooler)
- Gush Rush (Gushers)
- Nilla Mint (Gelonade)
- Peaches & Cream (WiFi Cake)
I loved Orange Pop and Peaches & Cream the best. They tasted so similar to the real thing that it was hard to stop puffing on them. I went a little overboard one day and felt a strong cerebral effect.
Effects
I could feel the potency of the HHC vapes more than Delta 8 vaporizers. It gave me a slightly more body high without feeling couch-locked. I also felt mood-elevating effects and was extra chatty. This is perfect for both a daytime and evening treat.
Pricing
For the HHC, the price per mg is $0.06. This is a great price point, especially for the two grams worth of vape.
Packaging
The wide vape comes in a very decorative packing which is quite an improvement compared to the branding on the older Delta 8 packages. It’s much more comfortable and has an insert to hold the vaporizer in place.
What was good?
They deserve the five-star reviews they get for their Haze Series collection of HHC disposables. Not only do they taste delicious, but they also keep you feeling refreshed and your mood elevated.
I also loved that Eighty-Six doesn’t have an overbearing chatbot asking if I need help with anything every two seconds. It let me come to them with questions, instead of getting in the way of my shopping experience.
What could be improved?
You can tell their site is still under construction. The lab reports at the bottom of some pages are not available. However, they are under the Lab Reports in the drop-down menu. You just have to look for them for a few minutes.
Eighty-Six THCP Review
THCP products sold by Eighty-Six are part of their Drip Series.
If you want to get your hands on these extremely potent THCP 2g disposables, you better sign up to be notified when they’re back in stock. These sell out fast, not only because they have excellent flavors. They’re super strong.
Flavor
These potent 2G disposables come in five flavors:
- Runtz Pop (White Runtz)
- Sunshine N’ Cello (Sunshine Punch)
- White Rabbit (White Berry)
- Golden Milk (Banana Kush)
- Sunday Scaries (Mimosa)
The Golden Milk was smooth and tasted like a bunch of green bananas. I love fruity flavors, but try the Sunshine Punch if you want something with a sweeter kick. It was so sweet and delicious, I had to make myself stop at just a few puffs.
Effects
Even though I have a high tolerance for Delta 8 and Delta 9 dabs, vapes and flower, I still am shocked every time I experience the potency of THCP.
These disposables were on par when it comes to extremely potent effects THCP is famous for.
Packaging
Once again, I love these packages. They have everything you need on them, like QR codes, ingredients and potency. These have sturdy packaging, and each is expertly thought out and executed.
What was good?
The different strain mixtures for each disposable were spot on. For example, Runtz Pop combines White Runtz and Push Pop. And the White Rabbit flavor was a mix of White Berry and Animal Cookies. You can tell they put a lot of thought into choosing what strain to make their extracts from.
What could be improved?
Eighty-Six needs to prioritize THCP. They are often out of stock, and that’s because people are learning that it is much more potent than your typical Delta 9 THC. Aside from that, once their website is up to date, there should be nothing but smooth vaping.
Eighty-Six Fun Guy Amanita Muscaria Gummies Review
Amanita mushrooms, also known as fly agaric, contain psychoactive compounds such as muscarine, muscimol and ibotenic acid, all of which are legal at the federal level.
These compounds produce a calming and euphoric high, making Amanita a milder and more manageable cousin of psilocybin. They are perfect for inducing deep relaxation and a touch of trippiness without any negative or aggressive effects.
Flavor
They come in three flavors:
- BlueRazz
- Strawberry
- Watermelon
I found these sugar-coated gummies to be sweet and flavorful, without any taste that would make you think you were eating something made from mushrooms.
Effects
Eighty-Six’s Fun Guy Amanita Muscaria gummies were quite the trip. Not to mention, the gummies are 10X the potency of regular amanita muscaria.
These actually contain 500 mg of amanita per gummy, not 50 mg as suggested and five pieces in the container. How do we know? We spoke with the marketing director and he confirmed they contain 500 mg and the “10 X potency” label is simply marketing speak for 500 mg.
I felt like a little kid, giggling and enjoying the mild psychotropic effects. Usually, I can’t stand psilocybin mushrooms because they hurt my stomach, but I had no problem with these gummies.
Pricing
For these Fun Guys, the price is $0.01/mg. That’s quite the deal.
Packaging
The gummies came in a small white, child-proof container with the label, QR code, ingredients and dosage recommendations. It was an opaque solid container to protect the gummies from direct light.
What was good?
I loved the little mushrooms on the package, and the high was fun and full of laughs, but I still felt in control. The trip was not as intense as psilocybin, but it was still fun to share a couple of gummies with friends and game out.
What could be improved?
They are sold out of these amanita gummies quite often. It is a regular occurrence throughout the site, which speaks well for their business, but they should create more batches of their goods.
The Final Verdict: Eighty-Six Premium Hemp Review
Eighty-Six provided a really fun week for me as I tested out each product. Some of these are so delicious you may over indulge.
As with trying any new cannabis product, always remember to start low and go slow.
- Excellent assortment
- Full panel third-party lab tested
- Amanita gummies are strong AF
- Must spend $75+ for free shipping
- Exchanges or returns only for damaged goods
Take one gummy (or even a half gummy if you’ve got a low tolerance) and wait at least an hour before taking another.
If you’re using vapes, take a puff or two and wait 15-20 minutes before puffing more. If you don’t, you may find yourself wishing you hadn’t kept on puffing.
Overall, Eighty-Six is a great brand. I can’t wait to see what they will come out with next.
