Is Secret Nature CBD Legit?
Yes, Secret Nature CBD is legit.
With some of the highest quality hemp-derived THC and CBD products I’ve come across, this artisan hemp brand is fulfilling their mission to “help people feel better everyday.”
Their products are beautiful and full of aroma, and their effects are just as impressive.
I spent over 25 hours trying and testing out an array of their products, and I am pleased to say that everything I tried blew my expectations.
Secret Nature CBD Review: Overview
Secret Nature is a company based in Portland, Oregon with a team that has over 20 years experience in cannabis cultivation, breeding, product development, marketing and retail.
They’ve successfully helped build several successful cannabis brands throughout California, and stand proudly by their goal to consistently produce effective products.
For Secret Nature, the focus is on quality above anything else.
They have a mission to help people feel better every day. After reading their customer reviews and my own experience with Secret Nature, I can confidently say they’re doing exactly what they’ve set out to do.
They believe good cannabis products should only enhance your life, not hinder it. That’s why their products are made only from indoor-grown cannabis (grown in organic living soil), with proper drying and cold curing techniques.
They have various options, including flower, pre-rolls, and vapes that all contain micro traces of THC, always under the legal limit—providing the perfect smooth experience to lift your head comfortably in the clouds.
We’re big fans because their quality speaks for itself. Their medical-grade goods smell dank, look beautiful and have the promised effects. The gummies stayed fresh even after being delivered in 100+ degree heat.
Secret Nature Delta 8 Review
Delta 8 Carts & Disposables
Secret Nature offers a variety of different carts and disposables, and from what I can tell they are sweet, smooth and efficient.
They have the Super 8 vape cartridge, packed with 1200 mg of full-spectrum hemp distillate. When all of their flavors are in stock there are seven options to choose from, including:
- Mimosa (Sativa)
- Sour Diesel D8 (Sativa)
- OG Kush (Indica)
- Forbidden Fruit D8 (Indica)
- Gorilla Glue #4 (Hybrid)
- Gelato D8 (Hybrid)
- Wedding Cake (Hybrid)
I didn’t personally sample the Delta 8 carts, I did try the THCA disposables.
But what I can find from reviews on their website and Reddit, Secret Nature Delta 8 carts and disposables are just as delicious and smooth as the ones I sampled.
That said, some customers do think their prices are a bit high.
The cost of the 1200mg carts is $32. Each different flavor comes with its own combination of cannabinoids and terpenes which you can view by looking at the COA that goes with it.
So you might pay a little more or a little less per cannabinoid based on which product you choose.
Based on the COA, the Mimosa has the least amount of Delta 8 THC, with 729.9mg total. This means you pay $.04 per mg of D8 THC.
The Sour Diesel had the most milligrams of Delta 8 by far, measuring a grand total of 926mg. This means you pay $.03 per mg of D8 THC for this flavor. That’s a pretty great deal.
The packaging is simple and discreet, with a bit of a classy feel with gold font set against the black packaging. The Secret Nature products I received came in unmarked black shipping bags. It was double-bagged with a bubble mailer inside for extra protection.
Inside these bags waited the cardboard box with the cart. It lists ingredients, and usage instructions and a QR code that takes you straight to the product COA.
From what other customers are saying about Secret Nature Delta 8 vapes (and my experience with the THCA vapes), they are extremely user-friendly and easy to hit. They have a smooth drag and work fast.
These might not be a great choice if you’re a novice consumer and don’t want to get high. They do pack a punch, so be ready.
D8 Flower & Pre Rolls
When it comes to Delta 8 flower, Secret Nature has two options: Delta 8 OG Flower and Delta 8 CBG Flower. They are greenhouse-grown CBD hemp buds infused with pure Delta 8 THC oil extracted with no residual solvents.
While I did not get to try any Delta 8 nugs, they look just as beautiful as the CBD flower I did sample.
At the time of writing this article, they are both sold out, but you can sign up to get notifications when they are restocked.
From what I can find of what other customers are saying, these flower options are as top-shelf as they come. Each strain smokes smooth, with a true to strain taste that lingers on the palate..
Consumers describe the effects as fast and relaxing, but milder than you would expect with a Delta 9 flower, which is typically the case with Delta 8 vs Delta 9. It gets you high while still allowing you to stay clear-minded and hold focus.
The cost for both Delta 8 flower options is $25 for 3.5 grams.
According to its COA, the CBG flower contains 23.7mg Delta 8 THC and 3.5mg Delta 9 THC. This flower also contains 108.9mg of CBGA, 8.2mg CBG, 2.5mg CBC, 1.8mg CBCA and 1.9mg CBDA.
This means you’re paying $1.05 for each milligram of Delta 8 THC, but only $0.17 per milligram of cannabinoids total.
The flower comes in stylish pastel-colored mylar bags that can be resealed. They tell you the strain and type of flower that is inside, as well as the flavor profile.
This flower is said to be great for those who desire a flavorful, smooth, mellow smoking experience without the often overwhelming high often associated with Delta 9 THC.
If you have a high tolerance, this Delta 8 flower might be perfect for you to smoke through the day. If you’re new to the Delta 8 game, however, consider starting low and going slow. Even though Delta 8 is more mild than Delta 9, this flower packs a powerful punch.
Secret Nature THCA Review
Trying out the Secret Nature THCA flower was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Flowers were perfectly cured, sticky inside and had a great smell that had me excited from the minute I opened the package.
The flower impressed me with its beautiful green color speckled with bright amber and dark purple fuzzy hairs. And it was sparkly with trichomes, to the point where my table top was dusty after I finished prepping the bud.
When they are all in stock, Secret Nature has 13 types of THCA flower you can try out. At the time of writing, only the following options were available:
- Greenhouse (Indica)
- Blood Diamond (Indica)
- Lemon Cherry (Hybrid)
- Kush Glue (Hybrid)
- Bellini (Hybrid)
- Purple Punch (Hybrid)
- LA Kush (Hybrid)
- Sugar Pop (Hybrid)
I sampled Purple Punch, and I have to say it was one of the best THCA buds I have ever had the pleasure of trying.
It wasn’t sticky and wet like some of them can be, too obviously sprayed with cannabinoids before packaging.
The flavor was outstanding, fruity and sweet. There were the promised hints of grapes and berries. Before I even lit the bowl, I could tell it was going to be delicious due to the fresh, sugary smells that were coming from my grinder.
The effects were euphoric and energetic. The kind of high that doesn’t lay you on your ass, but still feels great.
The cost is $40 for 3.6 grams of this top-shelf, indoor-grown bud.
The COA for the Purple Punch bud shows that it has 237.8mg of THCA, which means you pay $0.17 per milligram of THCA. But with the additional CBGA, CBG and Delta 9 THC, you pay $0.16 per milligram of total cannabinoids.
I’ve been smoking weed for years, and I can assure you this is some top-shelf flower.
In my opinion, this simply backs up Secret Natures’ mission to offer high-quality hemp flower with a smooth and flavorful smoking experience.
The freshness left an impression on me, and I will absolutely be recommending their THCA flower to anyone who asks what I think is the best.
As far as THCA flower goes, I wasn’t left with any wants. It was a great experience from start to finish.
THCA Disposable & Carts
Secret Nature THCA disposable vapes and carts tasted great and were so easy to use. They have a few options for you to consider, including:
- White Fire OG (Indica)
- Forbidden Fruit (Indica)
- Gelato (Hybrid)
- Melon Frost (Sativa)
- Mimosa (Sativa)
I sampled the Melon Frost and Mimosa disposables. They were so good that it was hard to put them down during the day.
They were flavored to taste exactly like the names suggest. The Melon Frost tasted like a juicy melon with the aftertaste of menthol, or maybe a pillow mint. Let me tell you, it was delicious.
And the Mimosa was also just as satisfying. Completely sweet, with citrusy notes too.
The effects were quick and potent. After two draws from the pens my whole vibe was lighter and happier. True to any quality sativa, I went through the day without a foggy brain or complete loss of energy.
There is only one COA available for all of the THCA vapes, and it doesn’t distinguish between the strains or flavors.
According to the lab report, there is 370mg of THCA, meaning you are paying $.13 per milligram of THCA. But there is also 2.41mg Delta 9 THC, 80.85mg CBD and 319.2mg CBDA.
This makes for a total of 772.46mg of cannabinoids, meaning you pay $.06 per milligram of cannabinoids overall. One of the best price points per cannabinoid when it comes to Secret Nature products.
Just like the rest of their products, the packing for the disposable vapes was discreet and sleek. But mine didn’t come in the black boxes shown on their website. Instead, they were packed in slim, resealable mylar bags.
Both of the products I tested were sativas, but based on my quality experience, I imagine the indica options are just as relaxing as they should be.
But when it comes to the sativa strains I tried, they were perfect for getting the mood and head change I want when adulting during the day.
The smooth hits that these pens delivered made it easy to keep grabbing them for more. I didn’t cough or have to sit through uncomfortable chest expansion when I hit these. Not one single time.
I loved the sweet and juicy flavors that tasted like candy. But for those with a more traditional flavor preference, they might be a little too sweet. A bit of earthy, terpene flavors on the back end of these pens might help round out the experience, like sea salt on caramel.
Secret Nature Delta 9 Review
Secret Nature has two Delta 9 THC options: Live Resin THC Gummies and THC Microdose Tabs. I unfortunately didn’t personally sample any of their THC products, but reviews from other customers are outstanding.
Made with authentic, strain-specific cannabis profiles, Secret Nature Delta 9 THC Gummies are available in the following three options:
- Peach Ozz (Hybrid)
- Strawberry Cough (Sativa)
- Cherry Kush (Indica)
Previous consumers say these gummies taste great. Considering the fabulous flavor of the CBD Strawberry Cough Gummies I did sample, I imagine the THC gummies are just as amazing.
A consistent theme throughout the reviews on Secret Nature’s Live Resin Delta 9 THC Gummies is that they could be stronger.
Each gummy contains 5mg Delta 9 THC and 25mg CBD, meaning consumers with a higher tolerance will likely need to eat 2-3 of these to experience the effects they desire.
That said, one gummy makes for the perfect microdose and is a great introduction to those new to Delta 9 THC.
These gummies sell for $64.99 for a 60-count bag. According to the COA, there is 4.91mg of THC per every 3.8g. This means you’re paying $0.22 per mg of THC.
They come in a resealable mylar bag covered with serving recommendations, storage recommendations, and all the other important information.
You may want to keep these in the fridge to maximize freshness depending on how long it takes you to eat through 60 gummies.
Secret Nature CBD Review
Secret Nature offers a nice variety of high-quality CBD products, including: fresh flower, pre rolls, vapes and carts, drops and softgels, and gummies.
Secret Nature Live Resin CBD gummies exceeded my expectations on every level. Made with 25mg CBD, these live resin vegan gummies are crafted with real fruit juice and zero artificial anything.
It was a cool 105 degrees here in Northern California when the gummies got delivered to my mailbox instead of my doorstep. I checked the mail pretty quickly, but still, I expected to find a block of melted gummies inside the bag when I opened them up.
To my surprise, the bag was full of perfectly fresh and sugary strawberry cough cubes that punched me in the face with a sweet aroma.
The flavor of these Strawberry Cough CBD gummies was sugary sweet without any residual earthy cannabis flavor.
The effects came on slowly (as to be expected with any edible) but lasted for hours. I took one CBD gummy mid-morning and one more after lunch and was relaxed all day long.
It was the kind of day where work felt great, I looked forward to making dinner, and had the energy to socialize the whole time. That isn’t always standard for me, so it was a win for sure.
CBD Flower & Pre Rolls
When it comes to CBD flower, Secret Nature seems to shine. While I didn’t sample any for this review, after trying their THCA flower I want to try every single flower option they offer.
They have several CBD flower options to try out, one of the most popular being their Secret OG strain.
This top-shelf indica strain is known to taste like grassy lemons with earthy tones, with effects said to be extremely relaxing and smooth. True to its indica heritage it may cause sedative-like effects and supreme relaxation.
This strain starts out at a price of $30 for 3.5 grams. According to the accompanying COA, there’s a total of 396.4mg of CBD, along with some smaller amounts of THC, CBG and CBN. Considering these numbers it costs $.08 per mg of CBD.
The packaging matches the same as all their other flower options, coming in a small mylar resealable bag with the important label information and a QR code printed on the outside.
The CBD strains are great for beginners who want a smooth smoking experience and relaxing effects without getting high.
They are full-spectrum products, so if you’re looking for a CBD flower that doesn’t contain any THC you might want to look elsewhere.
Secret Nature offers three CBD vape carts, including:
- Orange Royal (Sativa)
- Lemon Diesel (Sativa)
- Grape Ape (Indica)
I sampled the Forbidden fruit and Grape Ape carts and must say, it was a nice relaxing and tasty cart. Similar to the disposable pens I tried, this cart was very sweet and smooth with every single hit.
The flavor of the Grape Ape was exactly what the name suggests. Sweet and slightly grape flavored. That said, it wasn’t quite as tasty as the flavors that came with the disposable vapes I got to try.
To be completely honest, this vape cart had the least impressive flavor of all of the Secret Nature products I tried.
After two steady drags, however, I could feel the effects melting over me, relaxing my body and mind. It was great for helping calm my mood and settle in for the night.
The effects were fast and relaxing, and the cart was easy to hit and didn’t make me cough or wheeze.
The cost is $55 for a 1200mg cart. According to the COA, it contains 684mg of CBD. That brings the price to $.08 per mg of CBD.
The packaging was true to Secret Nature standards and came in a small black cardboard box. Inside the box, the cart was hermetically sealed in a small bag for freshness.
And of all the COAs I read through while reviewing this brand, this is the only one that had a full panel report, showing passing grades for heavy metals, mycotoxins, pesticides, and residual solvents. I wish this was the case for all of their products.
The Final Verdict: Secret Nature Review
Secret Nature CBD has passed the test for a legit company with impressive quality products.
Although some of the products can be a little pricey, everything I had the pleasure of trying for this Secret Nature review knocked it out of the park when it came to freshness, flavor and effects.
It would be great to see full panel lab reports for all of their products, but even with the partial reports they have made it clear that quality is their top concern.
If you want a mellow, relaxing experience, try out their CBD products.
But if you want to feel the euphoric effects cannabis is famous for, go for it with Secret Nature’s Delta 8, Delta 9 or THCA products. They’re great for consumers with higher tolerance and will have your head floating in the clouds.
