In terms of terpenes and strength, the MAC bud is unmatched. 

Bloomz markets this strain as “dispensary grade” and it honestly exceeded all my expectations. The bright green buds beautifully showcase a bunch of orange hairs and amber trichomes.

If the aromas don’t make you an instant fan, the high definitely will! At 23% total cannabinoids, even the most experienced sensi smoker will succumb to the potent psychoactive effects.

Flavor

The MAC flower tasted like earthy pine with subtle orange flavors. 

With each puff, hints of cinnamon spice and pine dance on the palate.

Flavor

The brand’s Mocha 20% THCa flower tasted like sweet coffee with undertones of cinnamon and pine.

In my opinion, Secret Nature’s Mocha strain had the best tasting terpenes of all the choices on our list. Those after a flavorful smoking experience, look no further!

Secret Nature’s Mocha high THCa hemp flower produced a powerful hybrid buzz. A few hits elevated my mood and delivered full body relaxation. 

The high was potent! I was stoned for a little over an hour and was able to remain alert, while keeping an air of calmness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is THCa Flower Legal?

Yes, but the legality is somewhat of a gray area.

THCa flower is not considered a controlled substance because it doesn’t technically apply to the 2018 Farm Bill. The legislation states that hemp products that contain less than 0.3% of Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis are legal. 

However, the bill classifies “hemp” as any part of the cannabis plant that has a concentration of Delta 9 THC that does not exceed 0.3% on a dry weight basis. THCa is excluded from the Farm Bill’s definition of hemp.

This has permitted manufacturers to use this legal workaround where THCa products are federally permitted as long as they’re Hemp derived (the lower THC form of the cannabis plant family). 

Does THCa Get You High?

Yes, but not on its own. First the THCA needs to be heated up. 

THCa (aka tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is actually the acidic form of Delta 9 THC. This precursor to THC is non-psychoactive in its raw form.

When THCa is converted into Delta 9 THC in a process known as decarboxylation (which basically heats up the THCa molecule to drop the acid group), it then becomes psychoactive. 

In order for THCa to get you baked, you must heat it to a certain point where it changes into THC. This can be done by smoking, cooking, vaping or dabbing THCa. 

Once THCa is decarboxylated it will produce psychoactive high…and get you seriously stoned.
